As faculty and staff, you work hard in the classroom
and in service to the community—and American
University wants to give back to you. This fall,
AU is rolling out a new Faculty and Staff Wellness
Program to facilitate healthy living while enhancing
your experience at AU.

healthy adults should get 30 minutes of moderate
intensity activity (like brisk walking or light
yard work) 5 days a week. Pressed for time? 10
minute intervals broken up throughout the day

Weekly meetings
on campus for people interested in weight

provide participants with the opportunity to get
